Reporting to the CFO this role will ensure company financial plans are carried out and oversee all financial related matters where depth and scope is relative to the size of the company. Business partner with management to create financial models and analysis of financial and operational metrics that facilitate effective, data driven making decisions and drive insight into the business with analytics that support both short-term performance goals and long-term strategic goals.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance and Management Accounting
- Experience developing and mentoring high performance teams
- Competed CA or CPA designation
- Previous experience in fundraising, IPO and/or M&A
- Experience managing a small team
- Ability to be hands on as well as strategic
- Self-starter who proactively identifies opportunities for organizational improvement
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive team in understanding of financial models and analyses of financial and operational metrics to evaluate and direct business performance
- Provide support and strategic guidance for operations and sales teams
- Provide strategic thought to business planning, forecasting and analysis
- Proactively seek opportunities to create efficiencies and improve process, develop, and monitor performance metrics for business segments and functional departments
- In collaboration with CFO and Controllership, oversee the annual budgeting process, including review and approval of departmental budgets and preparation of reports and analysis for the board and financial institutions
- Complete variance analysis of KPIs, OKRs and financial information to guide strategic corporate decision making
- Facilitate monthly and quarterly business and financial reviews with management, and implement
- Actively support M&A activities, including due diligence, business valuations, combinations, and integration
- Ensure the FP&A function provides visibility into the organization performance across the company with KPIs and supports the strategic growth objectives, assessing organic growth opportunities as well as modeling M&A scenarios
- Establishing and maintaining sound relationships with financial institutions, including commercial and investment banks
- Making recommendations to optimize investments of financial capital
- Supporting Executive team with forecasting, financial analysis and due diligence in conjunction with capital fund raising activities and external stakeholders
