Senior Accountant, Corporate Reporting
In this role, the Senior Corporate Accountant will play a crucial part within the accounting department, contributing significantly to the firm's external reporting activities.
- Oversee all aspects of general accounting functions, including financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing processes, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assisting in the development of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.
- Assist internal audit teams to maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Help in the coordination of external audits and regulatory compliance activities.
- Monitor and guide junior accounting staff, promoting their professional growth and development.
What you bring...
- CPA-designated
- 3+ years of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or industry experience
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting and financial reporting
- Experience with US GAAP is an asset
- Real Estate audit/industry experience is an asset
