You'll be responsible for overseeing all activities related to their pooled funds, including coordinating all unitholder activity with external partners, trade reconciliation, fund balancing, client reporting, regulatory reporting and all other administrative duties related to the day-to-day operation of the funds.

Responsibilites:

• Liaising with two separate custodians on all matters related to weekly and monthly-valued pooled funds
• Requesting cash outflows and switches between funds, tracking inflows, and any other pooled client request
• Reconciling client unit activity to custodial records and reviewing custodial reporting in detail for accuracy
• Participating in annual and interim pooled fund audits and liaising with external auditors
• Responding to client requests for ad hoc reports

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role with an acute attention to detail
• An undergraduate degree and experience in basic accounting
• A high degree of familiarity with Excel
• Some familiarity with the legalities and regulatory environment pertaining to client asset management, which would be beneficial
• The ability to work independently as you gain a full understanding of your role and related responsibilities
• A good understanding of the structure of various registered accounts (i.e. RSP, RIF, TFSA)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• The ability to work independently and take initiative when required
