Sr.Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the corporate finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. This prominent role offers a strong foundation for career growth within a respected asset management company. The Senior Accountant will be involved in financial accounting, analysis, and reporting for the company’s operations, collaborating with internal teams to drive improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial close process for various entities, seeking opportunities for process enhancements.
• Handle complex accounting tasks and consolidate financial results for management reporting and compliance.
• Record and manage journal entries and reconciliations, including intercompany transactions.
• Oversee the preparation of working papers for audits.
• Manage accruals and entries for reporting periods.
• Analyze financial data for management reports and compliance needs.
• Work closely with business units and departments to support finance-related functions.
• Mentor and train new team members, including interns.
• Recommend and implement improvements in financial processes and reporting.
• Contribute to special projects and analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in corporate finance and accounting.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA).
• Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
• Strong leadership and team support skills.
• Organized and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Self-driven with a focus on managing workloads and deadlines.
• Familiarity with financial software like Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• Experience with IFRS accounting and reporting.
