Finance & Operations Associate

Our client is a high-growth sustainable finance boutique that uses capital as a tool for meaningful positive impact. They are currently seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to help manage their growth. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment where your curiosity in sustainability and sustainable finance will be highly valued.

What you'll do:

• Manage financial and management reporting
• Prepare small business tax returns for multiple entities
• Handle regulatory reporting and sales operations
• Oversee the intern program offering people management opportunities
• Develop & improve policies, procedures, standards and process maps
• Support client agendas, client reporting, and materials for clients
• Support applications for incentive programs and tax credits

What you bring:

• Undergraduate degree with 5 to 15+ years of relevant professional experience at a bank, asset manager, specialty financial services firm, law firm, accounting firm or similar
• Professional accounting training (e.g. CGA, CMA, CPA or international equivalent) would be preferred
• Prior experience with financial reporting, management accounting and dealing with small business tax requirements
• Demonstration of professional capabilities in operations, accounting and business management in a professional setting
