We are exclusively helping a leading global manufacturing company to find a Controller for their team. Based in the west of Toronto and reporting to the VP of Finance, the Corporate Controller guides financial operations and provides operational support. This role maintains financial frameworks, implements company-wide initiatives, and offers strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Instill a culture of financial responsibility and collaborate for growth and expansion;

Uphold strong internal controls.

Partner with IT for system integrity.

Aid strategic and financial planning.

Align local management with company strategy.

Enhance financial literacy and insight.

Manage daily treasury operations.

Optimize financial processes.

Lead tax compliance and strategy.

Scrutinize capital expenditure.

Facilitate inter-group collaboration.

Implement internal audit recommendations.

Contribute to risk assessment and management.

Elevate financial literacy across the organization.

Operate effectively in a multi-currency context.

Required Skills:

Proven achievement track record.

5+ years in finance, preferably manufacturing or project-based.

Leadership in accounting teams.

Multi-location/multi-national familiarity.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

CPA designation.

Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.

Data synthesis for decision-making.
