A leading Private Equity business in Toronto is seeking a Manager, Fund Finance to join its high-performing team. Reporting to the VP, Finance, you will focus on the review of fund accounting for private equity funds, including the review of financial reports for funds & related entities.

What You'll Do:

• Review the quarterly and annual accounts for internal entities
• Review accruals, billings, management fee calculations, and waterfall calculations
• Review the quarterly and annual account packages from third-party fund administrator for a number of private equity funds
• Support Fund Managers through cyclical close periods (quarter-end, year-end)
• Train, coach, and mentor junior staff.
• Liaise with auditors throughout the year-end process
• Assist with special projects led by the Private Equity Fund Finance Team or in collaboration with other corporate groups
• Monitor, assess and implement new accounting pronouncements impacting the Funds under US GAAP, IFRS and Canadian GAAP.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

What You Bring:

• CPA or CFA qualified
• 5+ years of relevant experience (Big 4 external audit, Fund Administration, etc.)
• Understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, Canadian GAAP
