Legal Counsel - Bilingual

We are partnered with a globally leading automotive company in their search for a bilingual (French & English) Legal Counsel. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the worlds leading automotive company's and be apart of their exciting team here in Canada. Experience in privacy, compliance, marketing & advertising is strongly desired.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support on privacy, marketing, advertising, brand, data protection, IT, and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and translate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging legal trends and developments in the automotive industry.
• Handle any other legal matters as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry or a related field.
• Member in good standing with Law Society of Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in both French and English is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
