Ready to take your risk management expertise to the next level? We're searching for a Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management to join one of our clients dynamic organization. You will collaborate closely with top-level management to identify, measure, assess, & monitor significant risks independently. Your responsibilities will encompass the production of essential ERM reports, the adoption of risk management policies, and the maintenance of risk-related guidelines and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure alignment of risk strategies with industry regulations and organizational imperatives. Adopt and implement enterprise-wide risk management policies and frameworks. Monitor external factors impacting risk policies and propose adjustments.

• Develop tools, policies, and practices for analyzing and reporting enterprise risks. Monitor and report on risk exposure to management. Contribute to stress testing and scenario analysis. Stay informed about global financial trends and emerging risks.

• Play a role in shaping enterprise risk management strategy and action plans. Contribute to reviews of the organization's strategy, risk appetite framework, and ERM framework.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, or business discipline. Pursuit of professional designations such as FRM, CPA, CIA, or CFA considered a plus.
• 5+ years in roles within commercial banking, understanding regulatory requirements & risk management advisory. Experience as a risk manager or senior manager preferred.
• Practical understanding of risk management practices within financial institutions, encompassing credit, market, and operational.
• Proficiency in credit risk and portfolio management strategies, foreign exchange trading, derivative products, money markets, and stress testing.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and demonstrate attention to detail.
