My client a global leader in sustainability, renewable energy and waste-management industry is looking for an IT Manager to lead the cybersecurity projects as well as vendors across LATAM, USA and Canada. This role is Markham based and offers hybrid working.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/college certificate / or equivalent, in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience. (at least 5 leading IT support, 5 leading cybersecurity, 5 years managing projects)
- Minimum 5 years of management experience
- Cybersecurity education
- Business Education
Experience Required:
- Experience managing and implementing business applications and infrastructure.
- Experience with SAAS, IAAS, PAAS
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices; PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS18
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and users.
- Exposure to business intelligence and data analytics
- Experience leading Technical Support
- Experience leading Cybersecurity
- PMI-PMP, CISM, CISSP, ITIL, IoT, Industry 4.0 is an asset
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Recommend short- and long-term IT goals and objectives to business leaders.
- Provide expert and strategic advice to members of the leadership team on all technology matters affecting the Company.
- Implement and enforce IT systems, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure key business strategies and processes are supported by technology systems that enable growth and flexibility.
- Achieve secure, reliable, and cost-effective operations of IT infrastructure and applications.
- Effectively establish and manage the Company's IT budget and evaluate emerging technologies and educate business stakeholders on the potential for new technologies to deliver a return on investment by enabling business innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
- Oversee and manage capital projects to ensure target dates and budget expectations are met.
- Ensure service-level requirements are met while upholding all regulatory and compliance standards.
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all IT system support teams, including IT security, development and engineering, infrastructure, technical business analytics, and help desk.
