Senior SAP Business Analyst SD/MM

A global organization is hiring a Senior SAP Basis Administrator for its Toronto team, offering a key role in optimizing and supporting complex SAP environments. You’ll lead technical projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure system stability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator, you’ll ensure the stability, security, and performance of complex SAP landscapes while leading technical projects and supporting systems like ECC, S/4HANA, BW on HANA, and APO. You’ll manage databases, collaborate with technical and business teams, document processes, and guide junior colleagues as you handle upgrades, incidents, and optimization efforts.

• Lead SAP BASIS projects, including installations, upgrades, and migrations—ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business impact
• Deliver advanced operational support through monitoring, performance tuning, and authorization management across critical SAP systems
• Support key SAP solutions (ECC, S/4HANA, BW on HANA, APO) while maintaining and optimizing HANA and DB2 databases
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor junior administrators, and maintain clear operational documentation
• Coordinate technical activities, participate in incident management, and ensure high‑quality, timely project execution

Key Requirements:
As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator, you bring extensive experience managing complex SAP landscapes, strong technical expertise in SAP HANA, and the adaptability needed to handle evolving enterprise challenges. You’re dependable under pressure, skilled at guiding upgrades and resolving critical issues, and effective at collaborating across teams while mentoring junior colleagues. Your grounding in change management, project coordination, and optional scripting or ABAP skills further strengthens your impact in this role.

• 5–10 years of SAP BASIS administration experience in large, complex enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA and DB2, with additional skills across Oracle and SQL Server
• Comfortable working on IBM/AIX, Linux, and Windows servers, adapting easily to varied infrastructures
• Skilled in problem‑solving under pressure, change management, project coordination, and mentoring team members
• IT‑related degree, fluency in English, on‑call flexibility, and optional ABAP or scripting knowledge as an advantage
