Investment Operations Analyst - Private Markets

What you'll do:
- Process transactions and trade settlements, and manage and verify documentation for trade capture and settlements, ensuring accuracy
- Allocate loan investments across funds and prepare trade documents
- Execute investment-level hedging contracts with foreign exchange providers
- Ensure data integrity in investment realization returns from third-party service providers.
- Oversee cash reconciliations, resolving discrepancies with internal and external partners.
- Act as an investment data expert using VBA / SQL, creating tailored reports for internal and external use.
- Collaborate on financial reporting and valuation model inputs, by coordinating with internal teams and external fund administrators.
What you bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in investment operations or accounting from an investment manager, custodian, or fund administrator, with exposure to private credit, private equity, infrastructure or alternative investment funds is a must.
- Demonstrated experience in trade operations and trade settlements is a must.
- Strong understanding of private markets investments coupled with a genuine interest in expanding your expertise within this field.
- Progress towards or completion of professional designations such as CPA or CFA is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both verbal and written—to work with all levels of seniority internally as well as external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros and pivot tables), PowerPoint; familiarity with databases or VBA programming is a must
