Sales & Logistics Analyst

What you'll do:
- Review and validate submitted trade deductions against agreed trade terms and promotions for each retail customer individually, ensuring accuracy and compliance with commercial agreements.
- Prepare and submit monthly forecasting and demand planning reports in alignment with the Sales Manager to identify potential risks and opportunities for growth.
- Monitor and coordinate in-market stock levels through close collaboration with third-party logistics providers to maintain optimal inventory.
- Conduct frequent inventory analyses to minimise the risk of obsolete stock and prevent out-of-stock situations across all product lines.
- Report monthly on the status of trade deductions, in-market stock levels, and order replenishment requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate and submit detailed product specification sheets for new product launches as well as when brands are listed at new customers.
- Build strong working relationships with local logistics providers, brokers, and internal teams based at headquarters in Switzerland to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support commercial initiatives and resolve operational challenges promptly.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas where processes can be optimised or enhanced within the supply chain function.
What you bring:
- A Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management provides a solid foundation for this analytical role.
- Approximately 2-3 years of experience within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company equips you with relevant industry knowledge.
- Basic proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems enables you to manage data efficiently within established processes.
- Experience using sales planning tools such as Exceedra or SAP IBP is highly valued for effective forecasting activities.
- Previous exposure to Canadian or US retailer trade deduction management is considered a significant asset for this position.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is highly desirable for effective communication across diverse teams.
- Exceptional organisational skills paired with strong attention to detail ensure accuracy in all aspects of your work.
- Comfort working independently while maintaining excellent interpersonal skills allows you to collaborate seamlessly across multiple stakeholders.
